Hi! ✋ Lukas & Adi here!

Our story starts around 2005 (maybe 2006). We first met online on a small, independent music forum. It was a wild time - before any media-sharing regulations really existed - we constantly share and passionately debate music. We were living through the rise of the (internet and) new and modern rock genres like pop-punk, post-hardcore, and metalcore.

Alongside a group of internet buddies that never even met in person, we launched an online radio station called Nu Punk Radio. This was with no doubts our teenage passion on a full gas. While other kids were playing games, we were running shows, writing articles, and gathering hundreds of peps inside this awesome, engaged community of young music enthusiasts. Days and nights, we shared the best music we could dig up from the depths of the internet. It was an incredible adventure that lasted 2 or 3 years. Unfortunately, due to some weird and complicated circumstances, we had to shut down the broadcast platform - a decision that still feels bittersweet to this day.

Through this initiative, we built a strong connection with a group of people from different parts of our country - Poland. Several times a year, we’d meet up at clubs to see our favorite bands performing live. And as time went on, Poland started getting more attention from international booking agencies, and we had the chance to see more and more of our idols plying right in front of us.

But, as happens with life (bummer), the group of young gals and lads we used to roll with, began to shrink - families, jobs, responsibilities, and distance became the all-too-common reasons for jumping out from the mosh pit. Despite that, Adi and I had an advantage: we both lived in Warsaw, (the capital) and without a doubt the best place in Poland to snatch our favorite bands. So we kept meeting up regularly, bonded by our passion, which only built and strengthened our friendship over the years.

Even now, despite the fact that I’ve moved to a different country, we remain as close as ever - our relation has grown beyond the music. We stay connected, sharing more about our lives while still keeping art at hearts. We still manage to meet a few times a year to catch the best shows we can. And honestly, I can’t think of a single day that’s gone by where we haven’t shared and talked about new stuff, just like old times.

But let’s get to the point. A while ago - right after Spotify launched - I started collecting playlists featuring new music from my favorite genres. Each week, the platform (learning algorithm) would suggest fresh tracks, and I began compiling them. I called this “Just Before The Drop”, since these were songs from just upcoming to-be-dropped albums. Over time, I filtered and organized the best of breed, eventually gathering over 150 playlists with more than 15k tracks in total. At first, I was doing this just for myself, to make sure I wouldn’t lose any portion of the music I liked and could always return to it.

One day, I decided to share these with Adi, having in mind that our tastes were very similar, thinking - he may appreciate it. And I was right - he fck’n loved it, often telling me, “These are perfect for my gym sessions.” That is when the idea hit us: why not share this with others? But not just as a simple Spotify playlist - let’s take it up a notch. From the very beginning we wanted to add real value to it. So, we decided to curate, sift through the noise, and write something meaningful about the music, providing interesting context and sharing our experiences with it.

The goal? To give you a weekly (or so) heads-up on what could be your next favorite tune, artist, or album.

But wait, there’s more! We’ve got a ton of ideas lined up to offer you far beyond just a taste of new music. The potential for discovering incredible tracks - both new and old - is massive, and we’re just getting started here. We’re not just to hand you a weekly playlist; we want to take you deeper into the world of sounds that drives us.

We’ve been in the scene for a while, and we’ve got a lot more to share - exclusive insights, hidden gems, and forgotten classics that deserve to be brought back into the spotlight. Whether you're a die-hard fan or just dipping your toes into the game, our goal is to keep you excited and ahead of the curve when it comes to discovering your next favorite band, melody, or album. Stay tuned- there’s a whole lot more coming your way! And hey we still have these 15k songs to share as well …

And finally, this is us and couple of our latests gigs.

Just after delivering one of our biggest dreams - seeing Blink-182 live. With no doubts this band shaped who we are, and what we do today.
With Daniel from Bury Tomorrow. One of our favorite metalcore bands.
Derby of Lisbon. As said we share more than just a music.
